“On the [Cat Butt] record-jacket spine, we thanked the girlfriends of Mudhoney, TAD, and Nirvana. I said it as a joke, and [Sub Pop’s] Bruce Pavitt insisted that we put it in there. It was very much based on reality, though, except for Nirvana. Kurt’s girlfriend came up to me at one of our shows and said, ‘Why did you guys put that on the record? None of you have ever done me.’ (Laughs.) I said, ‘It was just to balance it out, honestly.’ It sounded better with Nirvana in there.”

Nothing’s been decided yet, but I’ll likely be out there in September for some sort of event/s. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Malfunkshun: The Andrew Wood Story box set to feature a Chris Cornell song
According to the film’s official site, the Andrew Wood solo album to be packaged with the documentary DVD (out July 19) includes “a song written and performed by Chris Cornell and recorded by Andrew Wood. Although Chris and Andy would record each other performing often, this single track is the only existing recording from the two of these artists together in any means.” Amazon.com has the tracklist.
