NME: Original Nirvana drummer Chad Channing says he would be up for a band reunion

When asked if he would reunite with the surviving members of the band in the future, he replied: “Yeah, if they wanted me to. It’d maybe be something like Dave playing guitar and singing and Krist doing bass. That’d be about the only arrangement I could think of that we cold pull off.”

Obviously, I wish it was a situation where no one but Kurt Cobain was ever playing Nirvana songs. But that’s unfortunately not the case. I was a very ancillary part of the night, but I can’t imagine for those guys and for the family and for Courtney, for everybody, it just seemed like… the wound was still quite raw.

Thank you Eddie Vedder for speaking up for peace in our world…. The people of Palestine and Israel deserve peace and prosperity. It is time to stop repeating the same old arguments, dogma and hate speech. It is the knuckleheads on both sides that should be criticized and not the singer from a rock band.

I intentionally broke one guitar, a baby-blue Hagstrom III I got for $80, and regretted it within seconds of watching it splinter apart. I never understood why Nirvana almost always ended their shows by destroying gear. It was such a waste. If you don’t want that guitar, give it to someone who does. That shit got really goofy during the grunge years. L7′s roadie used to remove the mics from the drum kit at the end of their set so they could smash it up without getting fined by the venue for destroying their mics. How fucking spontaneous, right?

Hervana is a band in Toronto. I've seen them play live.

Yeah, I follow them on Twitter. Are they any good live? I love the singer’s stage name: Skirt Cobain!
