Two years ago, the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s Nevermind sparked a slew of retrospectives about the Seattle grunge scene. But those narratives left something out: the influence of women. A new play aims to update the historical record.
I’d like to point out that my narrative of the grunge scene, Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge, covers 7 Year Bitch and the Gits fairly extensively.
