Via Soundgarden’s Facebook page: On Record Store Day, April 20, Soundgarden will be releasing a limited edition vinyl of the King Animal demos worldwide. This is the first time these recordings have been available together. The songs will be pressed on 10” PINK vinyl and the 6-song package will also include a free digital download card.
Sub Pop turns 25 this year! The storied label will be celebrating with a free concert in Seattle on July 13. Acts TBA. Mad Season released only one album, Above, and is best known for the single “River of Deceit”.

This limited edition audiophile edition of Incesticide was pressed by Analogue Productions on two 180-gram virgin vinyl discs and cut at 45 RPM vinyl for superior audio quality to past 33 1/3 RPM reissues. The faithful recreation of the jacket designed by Kurt Cobain includes the lyric sheet art and for the first time comes housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. Gold-foiled stamped and individually numbered.

“Soundgarden will release an EP titled Live on I-5: Before the Doors Soundcheck on 10″ vinyl. The five-track effort comprises soundcheck performances from the band’s 1996 tour. The set is limited to 4,000 copies in the U.S.”
